RAWA 2020 Global Conference

Site & Accommodation

The spectacular Adi Mandala temple will be the main event site.
We are expecting around 800 people including many from overseas. All will be accommodated at the temple and at nearby Ananda Marga properties and local hotels and guest houses.

Follow-On RAWA artists retreats
Post conference artists retreats. These will in-depth, multi-day workshops for filmmakers, musicians, writers and graphic artists who want to learn and share ideas and initiate ongoing collaborations.

 

Special Bali Tour

Tours of Ananda Marga projects in Bali. Offered both before and after the conference. This way they can get a chance to see all our projects and attend DC all over the island. This will be super inspiring for them and it will certainly generate inspiration for funding our projects.

Bali :
Over the years, the grace and charm of Bali and its people have earned this tiny Indonesian island numerous sobriquets of praise and homage including Island of the Gods, The Last Paradise, Land of a Thousand Temples, and Morning of the World.
Varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides all providing a picturesque backdrop to its colourful, deeply spiritual and unique culture, stakes a serious claim to be paradise on earth.
World-class surfing and diving, a large number of cultural, historical and palaces set against stunning natural backdrops are some of its top attractions which Bali as the world’s top destination.

For Whom:
It’s aimed for those who are attending RAWA global conference.

Spirituality:
While on tour, we meditate together twice daily or more depending on the desire of the group
We will visit beautiful temples and sites sacred to different religions.

Itinerary in details:

Denpasar
The tour starts on 26th of October in Denpasar (arrival)

Denpasar is the capital city and main hub of the Indonesian province of Bali, in the southern part of the island. Laid-back Sanur Beach on the east coast offers sunrise views. The nearby Pura Blanjong Temple contains a stone pillar with a 10th-century inscription. The Bali Museum displays a large collection of Balinese cultural artifacts, including traditional costumes and religious items.

We will only spend one night in Denpasar and meet up with all participants.


From Denpasar on the way to Singaraja on 27th of October

From Denpasar to Singaraja where the conference will be held, we will be visiting few attractive tourism places.

Singaraja  2nd – 4th of November
Singaraja is a port town in northern Bali, Indonesia. It’s known for Dutch colonial–era warehouses on its waterfront. Gedong Kirtya Library houses ancient palm-leaf manuscripts (lontar). Museum Buleleng displays stone coffins and ceremonial masks. Pictures of Buleleng kings adorn the 1600s royal palace Puri Agung. Pura Jagatnatha temple has carvings of Hindu gods. South, Gitgit Waterfall is set amid tropical forest.

The Bali Botanic Garden (IndonesianKebun Raya Bali) is the largest botanic garden in Indonesia and is located in the mountainous region of  Bedugul, central Bali,
around 90 minutes drive north of Denpasar. The Garden was established
on 15 July 1959 and is situated around 1300 metres above sea level
overlooking Bratan Lake and the Ulun Danu Temple on the slopes of Tapak Hill.

The Garden is a centre for botanical research, conservation, education and recreation. It is operated by the Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI)

The Garden has an area of 157.5 hectares (389 acres) and daytime
temperatures range from 17 – 25 °C and 10 – 15 °C at night. The humidity
averages around 70-90%.[1]

The Garden contains more than 21,000 living specimens belonging to
2,400 species, representing various species from mountainous areas of
eastern Indonesia: BaliNusa TenggaraSulawesiMaluku and Papua. In addition its herbarium contains 10,000 preserved plant specimens ranging from algae to flowering plants.

Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shaivite water temple on Bali, Indonesia. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul.

Bali jatiluwih rice terrace is a favorite tourist destination in Bali famous with the beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the foot of mountain until the coastal side. It is one of places to visit in Bali with the beautiful view as according to its name from Jati and luwih, where Jati mean really and Luwih meaning especial, good, and beautiful or the equivalent. The local paddies are planted in this place look typically of the high relative size plant if it is compared with other pre-eminent paddy planted by most farmers in Bali Despitefully, Jatiluwih also famous with its organic agriculture system due to the location is located in the in the plateau of Watukaru Mount which is suitable for the agriculture development.

Banjar Hot Spring is one of Singaraja Bali Places Interest, a nature hot water from the ground and it is believed can heal the disease. Furthermore, this Banjar Hot Water is featured by one small swimming pool encircled by unique rural nature, its situation close to the Wihara (Buda Temple). This Banjar Hot Spring is located in Banjar Countryside, Banjar sub district and Singaraja Regency. Meanwhile, it is about 1,5 Km from Banjar or 24 Km from Singaraja Town.

Super Early Bird rate of USD 1450 (only for the first 3 people).

Early bird rate of USD 1595 till the end of July. (for 5 people)

Full rate of USD 1750 till the end of September.
